FAQ's



Materials

We use a mixture of gold-filled and gold-plated components for all of our Fijn Jewellery pieces.

14k gold fill- Gold fill is an amazing alternative and wears similarly to solid gold. It is a layer of gold pressure-bonded to another metal.

14k gold plating- Gold plating is the process of electroplating a layer of gold onto another metal. It is more delicate than gold fill and should be treated with care.

24k gold vermeil - Gold vermeil is gold plating on sterling silver. It is delicate and should be treated with care.


Care

We ask that you wear our delicate pieces gently. Rough handling, water, chemicals and other products that come into prolonged or frequent contact with our pieces may damage their delicate nature.


 Shipping 

We know how painful the wait for your pieces is! That's why we only use express shipping!

Your order will be handmade within 10 business days, wrapped, and in the hands of the courier at the first available collection.


Domestic:

Postage within Australia is complimentary. We use Australia Post Express Post Parcels which are normally delivered next business day. It comes with tracking and requires a signature on delivery.

International:

Postage outside of Australia is AUD$10. We use Australia Post International Express Post Parcels, which estimates a 2-4 day delivery time to most metropolitan cities worldwide. It comes with tracking and requires a signature on delivery.

Fijn Jewellery is not liable for delays in delivery time, or lost parcels, once the parcel is in the care of the courier service.

We also ask you to ensure you have entered all correct details at checkout as we are not responsible for incorrect addresses or contact information.


Custom

We are able to resize most of our pieces.

Please email sales@fijnjewellery.com with your query prior to placing your order.


Returns

Fijn Jewellery offers a 14 day return and exchange policy should you change your mind after receiving your pieces.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind.

We do not accept returns if an item has been worn, damaged, or has been returned to us not in its original packaging with proof of purchase, or outside of the 14 day time period. We also do not accept returns of a custom product.

Faults

We pride ourselves on careful craftsmanship.

On the rare instance you receive a faulty product, we offer a 30 day repair or exchange policy.

Please email sales@fijnjewellery.com with full details of your piece so we can assist you.

Fijn Jewellery is delicate, and should be worn with care. Damage to pieces from wear is not considered a fault, and as such is not covered under our 30 day policy.


Cancelling orders

If you wish to cancel your order, please email sales@fijnjewellery.com immediately.

If your pieces have already been handcrafted or is in the hands of the courier service/s, we are unable to cancel your order.
